The commuter problem

A large share of this region commutes — into Manhattan, into White Plains, into Stamford. When your day already includes ninety minutes on Metro-North, adding a drive to a therapist's office isn't a small ask. It's the difference between therapy being possible and being theoretical.

This is the single clearest case for telehealth anywhere in the state. A session from your own living room at 7:00 costs you an hour. The same session across town costs you three.

Who has NYSHIP here

Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam, Dutchess and Ulster counties carry substantial NYSHIP membership through county and state offices, SUNY New Paltz and SUNY Purchase, correctional facilities, the state police, and a dense concentration of school districts. Between employees and their families, it's a large group — and it's a group with unusually little spare time.

High-pressure districts, high-pressure kids

Several Hudson Valley and Westchester school districts are among the most academically intense in the country. That produces real results and real cost, and the cost often lands on students who look like they're managing. Because your NYSHIP family coverage extends to dependents, teen therapy is generally covered under the same benefits. Sessions after school, from home, without a parent leaving work early.

How it works

We're based in Saint James and work with clients throughout the Hudson Valley — White Plains, Yonkers, New Rochelle, Poughkeepsie, Newburgh, Nyack, Kingston, Peekskill, and the surrounding towns. NYSHIP coverage is statewide, so distance from us is irrelevant.
